23 February 1934, 5:20 a.m. Breton and Marcelle (Lila) play the game of questions and answers that has occupied many moments since the beginning of the winter, many results of which have been preserved. Some, including the exchanges between Marcelle and Breton, have been published, which attests to the extra-literary vocation of the game, which requires no literary skills. It should also be noted that Marcelle, whose spelling isn’t very good, was considerably impregnated with Breton’s way of life and obviously prepared to share his fancies.
