Description

List written shortly before or shortly after the end of the Second World War of the last publications of André Breton since the time of Minotaure.

Whether or not intended for a collection (Surrealism and Painting would include some of its elements), this list, probably written shortly before or after the end of the Second World War, takes stock of André Breton's publications in journals since Minotaure. The predominant place given to reflection on painters during the 1930s and 1940s is apparent. This list is composed of titles of prefaces and texts published in journals: Minotaure issue 6, The Legendary Life of Max Ernst, View issue 9 [Atelier André Breton website, 2005].
