Description
Handwritten letter by Paul Éluard dated December 5th, 1932 addressed to the Association of Revolutionary Writers and Artists.
Illegible, alas, is Paul Éluard’s signature on this declaration of application to the Association of Revolutionary Writers and Artists received by Breton in 1932. This of course is the first (and ephemeral) state of this organization, the second, in which Breton will participate for a while, will be directed by the Communists. [Atelier André Breton site, 2005]

- 1 page of blue paper in-12. Handwritten application letter to the Association of Revolutionary Writers and Artists. Dated, and signed in ink by Paul Éluard. [Auction catalogue, 2005]

Bien cordialement. Jean-Pierre Plisson
