Author Marko Ristič
Drawings by Krsto Hegedusic

Description

A paranoiac-didactic rhapsody, one of Ristic's most inflammatory works, buttressed with strong surrealist-expressionist images, this is a work shrouded in legend and veneration and some mystification. Word reached the authorities in advance that the author was publishing a book of sex and violence, and a royal edict empowered the police, defending a law protecting state security, to raid the printer and confiscate the edition before release and destroy it. Very few copies survive. Marko Ristic was one of the leaders of the Surrealist movement in Serbia and the most widely published. Worldcat finds no copies of this first edition in North America. Ce livre n'a pas été écrit par l'un des membres du groupe surréaliste tchèque mais par Marko Ristic du groupe surréaliste serbe. Par conséquent, il faut le classifier avec le mot clé "Serbie" ou "Yougoslavie".
